Ako Amo is a Swiss compositional ambient duo — piano and electronics — by Olivia Zaugg and Maris Reck.

Their work explores what happens when acoustic piano and electronics meet on equal sonic footing — shifting between accompaniment, solo presence and complete fusion.

To explore this relationship, the duo has developed its own digital instruments and a distinct compositional performance practice.

In performance, this unfolds as a precise and physically present sound, moving between composed material and open structures.
